Darrington is cradled in the Cascade Mountains, with the west open to catch the sunsets.  With the mountains, are their five rivers and waterfalls.  With all of this abundance, you can hike it mile by mile, express it through photography, see it via river and more.  We guarantee  it will take a lifetime to take it all in!

Family Time

Darrington is a wonderful place to raise a family with a community active in the schools and something always going on at the library.   You can spend your time being part of the local happenings, or take some time out just skipping stones on the river, learning about nature and these special surroundings of the very special small town.

Where To Eat

We all like to socialize over a good meal or hot cup of coffee.  Darrington has some unique places, all locally owned.  You can choose from crafted beers, our friendly coffee shop, real Mexican food, fresh baked goods, pizza and a long list of old fashion milk shakes.  It’s all here at our small town!

Fun and Festivals

Out here, we know how to make fun and we’ve been doing it for generations!  Enjoy the smaller events like the Grand ol’ 4th of July, Annual Street Fair and Trunk or Treat.  Or come to some big events with great family fun at the Timberbowl Rodeo, our long standing Darrington Bluegrass Festival and the heart felt Sauk-Suiattle Pow Wow.  We are also home to the Summer Meltdown and other music festivals.
