Backman County Park, is a Snohomish County park just 1.5 miles south of Darrington, at 25333 Clear Creek Road.  This small primitive park offers river access for bank fishing and a launch site for small watercraft.  Limited parking is available and an outhouse is present. This is a very popular location for whitewater rafting expeditions and kayakers to meet at for river take out or starting off from.
